  A little bit over touristed but nevertheless a necessary stop. It with be the jumping off point to many of the top sites. I used to like it better before they started running the tourist train through this area. That cuts down on the walking freedom as the train takes priority. Fast food has nearly taken over the whole plaza so be careful eating here, although you can still find some decent albeit overpriced churros

  A very good starting point where you can start your exploration of Toledo city center. Plenty of walking guided tours or just grab your map and go up to Alcazar, or go down to Alcantara Bridge, or walk down the main shopping road till the Cathedral or go to San Agustin Plaza…
