  Arrived at Hotel Santa Isabel at lunchtime, easy to find with signposts all the way upto the hotel,very narrow and winding uphill road.

  Beautiful decor and good placement but we had a really bad experience here. First they didn’t specify that the reserved parking available was 12€/night so we were not lucky enough to find parking spots around the hotel (there are very small streets etc, its normal but then i feel like it is necessary or even mandatory to specify this price before we decide to book the place...) then at night we had these amazing neighbours screaming and talking loud - we called reception and they say they can only ask them to lower their voices aftet midnight...! So at 00:10, after a second call to reception, they actually did it and we were able to start resting. Nevertheless at 8am (40mn ago) some truck stopped in front of the hotel (‘mudanzas’ truck) and of course it was imposible to rest since then. We paid 70€ to rest and be able to sleep between some long car trips from Luxembourg, and i have to say that the purpose of the hotel - wich is sleeping - was not at all fullfilled. We can even hear the cars passing by from the room we are in. The construction is not well done to avoid noises. Not staying here again for sure.

  The hotel is well located in the old part of the city. However, if you do not like, church bells, very, very narrow streets and endless shops that sell swords this is a location to avoid. The building is a former nobleman's house. Refurbished to a good standard with very effective air-conditioning. The breakfast is basic but good value for money at €3.00 or €5.00. There is lift access to all bedrooms. A wrought iron spiral staircase leads to a terrific communal terrace. Here you can sit and relax with views of the city and countryside beyond. The staff are first class, all from the chambermaids, to the reception and refectory. I would certainly use this hotel again were In to return to Toledo.

  Very comfortable, large room in a lovely hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was ok and the views of the nearby cathedral from the roof terrace were stunning.

  Wow.wonderful hotel, worth the prices and so cosy and clean!! It's very close to the Cathedral and I loved the one night I was here!! Cannot recommend it enough..
